Frequently asked Questions

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions.  If your question is not answered, please contact us and we'll reply right away!

What are the dates and hours of the market?
The 2009 market will take place on Saturday, 8am until 12 noon, from June 27th until October 10.

Where is the market located?
The Glenview Farmer's Market takes place in the parking lot directly across from Wagner Farm.  Wagner Farm is located at 1510 Wagner Road in Glenview, at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Wagner Road.

Is parking available?
Free parking is available in the lot of Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church.  Although there is a small amount of parking in the lot where the vendors sell, it can become quickly congested.  If you do park in this lot, please note the signs and cones blocking certain spaces.

What products will I find at the market?
Fruits and vegetables that can be grown within 150 miles of Glenview.  In addition, we have meat, dairy products, breads and other baked goods, fresh cut flowers, artisan crafts, jam, honey, gourmet sauces and soups, and even home made dog treats!  Please see our Vendors page for more information about available products.

Is the farm open during the market?  What is there to do at the farm?
Yes!  You are welcome to venture across Wagner Road to roam the grounds of Wagner Farm.  Learn about agricultural life during the 1920s from our costumed interpreters, visit the replica grocery store and ice cream parlor as well as interactive exhibits in the Heritage Center.

Are their any organic or heirloom products?
Although no one is certified organic, most of our vendors use sustainable methods of production, which are outlined on our Vendors page.  Some heirloom varieties of vegetables are available at the First Orchards booth.
